Specification:  Sanishute pipe’s basic composition is Portland cement, ground sand, cellulose fibre and water and they are manufactured with a smooth inner surface and constant internal diameter to ensure snag-free operation.  Sanishute pipe mass is: INTERNAL DIAMETER OUTSIDE DIAMETER MASS LENGTH 530MM 585MM 72KG/M 4.0M or 2.0M 230MM 270MM 24KG/M 4.0M or 2.0M 454MM 512MM 67KG/M 4.0M or 2.0M      Fire Performance  Combustibility The Building Code of Australia requires all ducts to be constructed from non-combustible materials.   Fibre reinforced concrete Sanishute pipes are deemed non-combustible in accordance with the Building Code of Australia 2008 Specifications C1.12 Clause (d).     Early Fire Hazard Indices To Australia Standard AS/NZS 1530.3.1999 Clause 5.4  INDEX RESULT IGNITABILITY 0 FLAME SPREAD 0 HEAT EVOLVED 0 SMOKE DEVELOPED 0-1  NOTE: Zero is the best possible result.     Fire Rated Chutes For virtually all medium to high rise buildings, the Building Code of Australia requires all ducts (not used for the discharge of hot products of combustion) to be fire rated. This is most easily achieved by constructing a fire rated enclosure from slab to slab around the ducts, incorporating fire rated access doors.
